Terms & cancellation policy
The short version: the booking fee is non-refundable, the balance is only charged when you start your session, and no-shows forfeit the booking fee.
Booking fees
A non-refundable booking fee of $60 is charged when you book a group session. The fee holds your time slot and is deducted from the $300 session price when you arrive.
Paying the balance
The remaining balance is only charged when you arrive and your session is started by our staff. For individual sessions that is $25; for group sessions it is $79.
No-shows
If you do not arrive for your session, the booking fee is forfeited and no further charge is made.
Changes and cancellations
Contact us at least 24 hours before your session and we will happily move your booking to another available time at no extra cost. The booking fee itself is never refunded.
Wet weather
The dig site is outdoors. If we have to close for safety reasons we will contact you to reschedule, and your booking fee carries over to the new time.
Safety and supervision
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Machines are operated from outside the dig area, closed-toe shoes are recommended and our staff brief every session before it starts. Damage caused by deliberate misuse may be charged.
Group sessions
A group session covers up to 5 people sharing all machines on site for 3 hours, and runs on Saturdays. Extra people cannot be added on the day without booking a second session.
Store orders
Machines bought in our online store are paid in full at checkout and dispatched within 3 business days. Faulty items can be returned within 30 days for repair, replacement or refund.
